Evernow Releasing New EP, Begins Southwest 'Extreme' Tour
Evernow vocalist and guitarist Kasey Yale knew he wanted to be a musician and a performer at a very young age, and learned that about himself in a touching circumstance.
“I remember when my great grandpa was passing away in the hospital, my parents asked me to sing ‘Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star’ for him,” he said. “And it was awesome to see the joy on his face when I sang it for him, and I made him smile even though he was sick.” “I knew then and there that performing for people and making them smile was what I loved the most,” Yale said.
And as Yale got older, he and his friend Andrew played in a couple of bands over three years, and after going through several lineup changes before finding the perfect fit a year ago, the band Evernow was born.
Evernow consists of Yale, Andrew Reinjohn on lead guitar, Ryan Gio on drums, and Nathan Cody on bass and backing vocals. With strong influences from Anberlin, Incubus, Switchfoot, Breaking Benjamin and Linkin Park, Evernow’s sound is a wonderful combo of all your favorite late nineties and early 2000s alternative bands, but with an even more uplifting sound.

Things seem to be falling into place for Evernow – they’re about to release their very first EP, and will be going on tour soon with The Extreme Tour, along with well-known headliners such as Supreme from Wu Tang Clan, and Gallery Cat.
The Extreme Tour is not only a massive concert celebrating amazing music and extreme sports—it’s an effort from a charitable organization. Their goal is to “teach at-risk and counterculture youth with services and resources that would assist them in making positive, as well as healthy decisions for a successful life.”
Yale says he and the other members of the band are looking forward to all the philanthropic opportunities this tour will provide, including hosting barbecues and flipping burgers for citizens and spreading the message about anti-bullying.
However, Evernow needs your help. They have started a GoFundMe page to help them with the costs of touring with the Extreme Tour and leaving their day jobs for five weeks. They’re offering copies of their new EP “and something extra” to everyone who donates $20 or more.
“So far we’ve reached almost 25% of our goal,” Yale said. “We are super happy and very grateful for all the people who have donated so far.”
Evernow will be performing in cities all over the Southwest, including California City, CA; Las Vegas, NV; Tehachapi, CA; El Cajon, CA; Oceanside, CA; San Diego, CA; Canyon Lake, CA (Twice!); Redlands, CA; Flagstaff, AZ; Kingman, AZ; Prescott, AZ; Phoenix, AZ; and Globe (San Carlos Reservation), AZ.
